Alexander Kuzminsky (Александр Кузьминьский?) was a Russian aviator.
He studied at the École Blériot and received a pilot's license in France in 1910. He was hospitalized after an accident in St. Petersburg for 3½ months but then got back at it.[1]
He made exhibition flights in 83 cities in Russia, then in 1912 traveled to China, including Macao and Hong Kong, where it is said he was the first to demonstrate a monoplane.[1]
Kuzminsky's uncle, Leo Tolstoy, reportedly declined to attend an airplane exhibition because of the accident which had befallen his nephew, commenting that only birds should fly.[1]
