Charles-Alexandre Thirion
Charles-Alexandre Thirion was a civil engineer, patent agent, and author of books about patents.
We have him listed as Charles Thirion, addressed at 95, Boulevard Beaumarchais, Paris and acting on behalf of inventor Vicomte Decazes.[1] Bonnet, also acting as an individual, works for Decazes, elsewhere within the same patent family.
It appears he was a member of the Société d'encouragement pour la locomotion aérienne au moyen d'appareils plus lourds que l'air. (The entry in the membership list reads "Thirion, négociant", which could refer to a relative.)[2]
(See simply Thirion for a range of patents listed making no reference to partnership or collaboration.)

w:fr:Charles-Alexandre Thirion probably describes the same person -- but gives his lifespan as 1827–1901, raising the question of whether he could have coauthored Thirion and Bonnet, 1904 without an obvious comment about his death at the front.
