Charles Wolf was an aero inventor whom we only have as being located within Seine; France.[1]

One “Hélicoplane-parachute” seems to have been the emphasis of his work, with propellers of ascension and of propulsion operating conjointly, in the classic manner the airplane-helicopter hybrid. The “parachute” aspect of this aircraft is entirely design-dependent. The vessel is bulbous in shape, convex, as facing upward, concave, relative to the ground. In theory, this design will aid in the safety of a controlled descent.

The first and second additions to the initial patents gets into precise mechanics, without shifting the overall emphasis of the design, whereas the third and fourth additions increase the emphasis on wings, to the point of the aircraft being a triplane, with a bi-planar tail in fact, into the interests of greater lift and vertical control, all still aided by propellers of ascension in the manner of the helicopter.
