D. W. Glassie was an American patent attorney in New York who worked with both Eugene F. Falconnet and Albert Livingstone Blackman of Nashville, Tennessee.
Blackman accused Glassie of conspiring with Falconnet to steal ideas.[1]
Glassie ("of Washington D.C.") was disbarred in 1883, perhaps just briefly. A careful reading of this 4-page document suggests the Dept of Interior de-recognized him on 18 Sept 1883, then rescinded that decision on 3 October 1993.[2]
