Jay Gage was an aero inventor and aviator in Los Angeles. He ran the Jay Gage School of Aviation.
Gage built the "Fowler-Gage biplane", with pontoons, for Robert Fowler, who flew it in Panama. This airplane is now exhibited at the National Air and Space Museum.[1]
