Louis Geynet was an aero inventor whom we have filing from Norwich, New London county, Connecticut, filing a patent for a big triplane in collaboration with William H. Stebbins.[1] They had started research in 1908. The project has covered in several articles in the Norwich Bulletin and Aircraft and Aeronautics. We see nothing else about the project before or after 1910.

The craft was big and heavy, weighing by one account 650 pounds before the pilot got aboard; the Leader article in 2016

This might be him, with birth/death dates of 1881-1950, and middle name Pierre: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/166929759/louis-pierre-geynet According to this, he immigrated from Lyon, France, married in Massachusetts in 1913 (that would be after the airplane project), and died decades later in Pennsylvania.
