We believe the many persons named Menier who registered patents were family members. They filed in variable collaboration, also variably involving individuals of other surnames. We currently looking into whether a certain Alexandre Menier is of the same family. "Louis" and "Anacharsis" are specifically described as brothers, within the original of an earlier patent. "Ménier" and "Menier" are often used interchangeably, within single originals. Aside from collaboration between members of this family, there was also that involving Pierre-Joseph Ravel.
