The Man Angel was an aircraft designed by Alva Reynolds and flown at the St. Louis World's Fair in 1904.

It was a 30'-long balloon, 30' in diameter, with 3000 cubic feet of gas, propelled by two flapping cambric wings, powered by the operator.[1]

Reynolds hoped to win the $100,000 prize for 20mph flight, but barely got the Man Angel off the ground.[1]
