Mihály Székely was an aero inventor, whom Hungarian patent data first has an Aviator (Aviatikus) located at Budapest, filing a patent with the original title "Aeroplán".[1]
Slightly later data has him still in Budapest and identified as a "Camp Pilot" (Tábori Pilóta).[2]
"Aeroplán" represents a rare case in which Hungarian usage bends, using magyar-Hungarian orthographic principles in the appropriation of Western European words. See Glossary/Hungarian for some analysis on the patterns of norms and exceptions. "Aeroplán" most closely approximates French "aéroplane" and refers to the entire aircraft. This person had 0 publications and 2 patents in this database.
