Minnie Edith Young
Minnie Edith Young was an aero inventor. Her maiden name was Minnie Edith Arents, according to her French patent. She was a co-inventor or co-applicant with her son, Lewis Ginter Young. Patent US-1911-1109891 has her specifically being assigned rights, with him seemingly being the inventor.
We have biographical information from Find-a-grave.[1] She was born in Brooklyn, and died in Darien, Connecticut. She was married to an Albert Young.
An obituary gives details:[2] She was a niece of a Major Lewis Ginter, cofounder of the American Tobacco Company. She and Albert named their son Lewis Ginter Young. She "was connected with the activities of the Lewis Ginter Land and Development Company and the Sherwood Land Company." "Major Ginter left 'Westbrook', his country estate, to Mrs. Young, who, with her children [spent] several months each year [there]."
