This document makes reference to three Belgian priority dates:
- “2 demandes de brevets et 1 demande de brevet de perfectionnement déposées en Belgique : brevets, les 20 mars et 10 mai 1911 ; brevet de perfectionnement, le 14 juin 1911. - Déclaration du déposant.” All of this phraseology has to do with interfacing between the semantic protocols of the French and Belgian systems. In France, technically and semantically, “Certificat d'addition” is distinct from a “brevet)”, though they are legally equal, for all intents and purposes, particularly on the international stage. In Belgium, “brevet d’invention” is a parent patent, a “brevet de perfectionnement” is an addition, and a “brevet d’importation” is a Belgian filing of an patent for an invention which had been patent previously outside of Belgium.
- That is, this French brevet refers to two separate Belgian parent patents, and to one addition, presumably an addition to one of the aforementioned parent patents.
