Reference is also made on this addition constituting improvements to an application filed under "No. 84082", which was filed 1916-06-13, notably the same filing date of Patent FR-1916-493411. This number "84082" comports neither with the ordinary run of brevet numbers filed that year nor the ordinary run of certificates of addition, and this addition does make the standard reference to parent, having the number 493411. We will be looking into this, and into the firm Alphonse Tellier et Cie more generally.
The first addition to Patent FR-1916-493411 was Patent FR-1917-493411.22317, all of which is spelled out on this addition, and all relative to the "brevet principal", with the parent number, in this case 493411, being prominently displayed, as is usual in the protocols of French certificates of addition.
