Flapping/airplane hybrid. Wings tilted differently on downstroke and upstroke:
[...] automatically tilt to a horizontal position on the forward motion of the wings 75, and automatically tilt back to a vertical position just before the rearward motion of the wings 75, thereby causing the blades to offer the least resistance to the forward motion of the machine, and yet propelling the machine forwardly on their rearward stroke.
