Dirigible; propulsion and control/navigation means are "upon and within" the gas bag ; directable propellers at front and rear ; control of propeller rotation (?speed?) ; pendulum to steady the airship ; car suspended from gasbag ; chamber or shaft in the gasbag, with propeller in it ; presumably the gasbag is in a torus/toroid (donut) shape around the channel with the propeller, but I didn't verify that in the text or pix
