Sir Richard Tetley Glazebrook was director of the National Physical Laboratory from 1899–1919 and chairman of the Advisory Committee for Aeronautics based at the NPL from 1909.
He was a fellow of the Royal Society and of the Aeronautical Society of Great Britain.[1]
