Section 44

Section 44 refers to a section of the Patents and Designs Act 1883. It defines the Official Secrets policy for that period.[1]

This setcion was eventually replaced by the similar Section 30 of the Patents and Designs Act 1907 ... which adds references to the Admiralty to the previous mentions of the Secretary of State for War.[1]
