The Ziegler is a balloon created by the Physikalischen Verein of Frankfurt-am-Main. It departed on 1 November 1907, traveled across Belgium, and crossed the English channel near its shortest width (from the Pas-de-Calais département). It landed in England on November 3 at Harlington or Huntingdon, north of London. (These names are given differently in the text and in the map; both are towns in relatively the same part of England, north of London.)

Aérophile (May 1907) also covered the Ziegler's first voyage to England.
