William Unsworth was an aero inventor, on whom we have next to nothing, not even necessarily French identity, though SMIP has him noted as having registered a patent having to do with balloon navigation, with the French Office de Brevets, in 1870. Proper French sources give his full name and have him located in Paris, or rather it has him associated with the address of patent agent Blétry, Paris (6, rue des Filles-du-Calvaire, Seine.[1]
