The UK's National Physical Laboratory is in Teddington, a suburb of London in the County of Middlesex. Teddington is on the southwest edge of the city. [1] Teddington is sometimes referred to or described as being in London, and since 1965 is administratively in an area called Greater London. The Advisory Committee for Aeronautics may have been de facto centered there, associated with the NPL.
