Walloon Region in Belgium and Europe.svg

This is one of the three present régions belges, the région de Bruxelles-Capitale, being a later development, which comes up in our external research, but with post-dates the contemporaneous designations found within our antique sources.[1]

For some interest pertaining to some of this geography as touching our earliest aeronautical material, see Sambre-et-Meuse (ancien département français). This all has to do with Franco-Belgian territorial exchange having to do with Napoleon.
